Swingin' Cajun — Wade Benson Landry
Swingin' Cajun — Wade Benson Landry
Classic country and Cajun tradition, reissued on Neon Star Records.
Born and raised in Abbeville, Louisiana, Wade Benson Landry is one of American country music's most seasoned fiddle players. Over the course of his career he has played alongside Jimmy C Newman, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, The Oak Ridge Boys, Porter Wagoner, Dottie West, Mel Tillis, and Buck Trent — as well as the legendary Bob Wills' Texas Playboys. For many years he headlined his own morning show at the God and Country Theatres in Branson, Missouri. Wade and his wife Teresa Bowe Landry have traveled the country performing at oprys, fairs, and special events.
Swingin' Cajun brings his fiddle, his voice, and his deep Louisiana roots to ten tracks that move from bayou swing to country gospel, Western shuffle to barnyard boogie. Produced, arranged, and performed by Landry himself, this is a family affair in the best tradition of independent country music.
Reissued 2026 on Neon Star Records. Originally released as Swingin' Country Style Vol. II.
For fans of Cajun country, Western Swing, Bob Wills, traditional fiddle music, and classic American roots.
