Hi, I’m Meghan “Mae” McCoy—a Western Swing musician, interviewer, producer, and lifelong believer that California’s music stories deserve to be remembered.
I created Mae Out West to share the artists, places, stories, and conversations that keep our musical heritage alive, while making room for the people carrying it forward.
Part archive, part road trip, and part conversation between friends, Mae Out West is my love letter to the music, heritage, people, and landscape I call home.
This is California music culture, told by someone who has lived it.
